data.gov.my – Malaysia’s official open data portal

Department of Statistics Malaysia – Malaysia’s own Department of Statistics under Ministry of Economy which host multiple open source data sites
World Bank Open Data — Malaysia has decades of economic and development indicators.
UN Data — Malaysia aggregates international statistics.
UNDP Human Development Reports includes country-level HDI and inequality data.
IMF Data covers macro indicators like GDP and current account balances.
The Asian Development Bank Data Library covers Southeast Asian development data.
Humanitarian Data Exchange — Malaysia hosts COD boundary files curated for humanitarian use.
Company Registries
SSM e-Search – In Malaysia, all companies are required to be registered with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM). Each registered company is assigned a unique SSM registration number, which can be searched on this page.
Free Malaysian local business listing site, online business directory Malaysia – MalaysiaListings
Malaysia’s Verified Online Business Directory Portal – BusinessList.my
OpenCorporates aggregates Malaysian SSM data alongside 130+ other jurisdictions and is searchable for free.
Orbis by Bureau van Dijk and D&B Hoovers are paid but comprehensive for financial and ownership data.
LinkedIn Company Search is useful for headcount and key personnel.
Global LEI Foundation (GLEIF) assigns Legal Entity Identifiers and is useful for cross-border corporate verification.
Land & Property Records
Welcome to National Property Information Centre - NAPIC - NAPIC stands for the National Property Information Centre (Pusat Maklumat Harta Tanah Negara). It is a division of Malaysia's Valuation and Property Services Department (JPPH) under the Ministry of Finance. The portal is the government's official source for Malaysian property market data and statistics. NAPIC is a market intelligence portal, not a land registry. It does not tell you who owns a property.
Laman Web Rasmi JUPEM - The official portal for eKadaster, a system operated by Malaysia's Department of Survey and Mapping (JUPEM). (search: eKadaster Negeri)
iProperty and PropertyGuru are private portals with transacted price data and listings.
EdgeProp Malaysia provides transacted prices, overhang statistics, and NAPIC data in a friendlier interface.
Brickz.my is specifically focused on subsale transacted prices pulled from JPPH records.
Each state land office (Pejabat Tanah) maintains its own registry. Selangor's is eTanah Selangor.

DOSM GeoHUB - Open source GIS provided by Malaysian Government.
Penang GeoHub - Official Penang geospatial portal with 2D/3D thematic maps and open geospatial data.
Kelantan GIS (Kel-GIS) – Kelantan GIS portal for public and government mapping applications.

Sistem Maklumat Geografi Negeri Sembilan – Negeri Sembilan Geographic Information System containing state geospatial data and map layers.

OpenStreetMap (Overpass Turbo) has dense Malaysia coverage you can query with the Overpass API.
TindakMalaysia on GitHub has done extensive GeoJSON boundary work beyond just Perlis, including parliamentary and state constituency shape files.
GADM provides administrative boundary data down to mukim level.
Copernicus Open Access Hub gives free access to Sentinel satellite imagery covering all of Malaysia.
Flight & Vessel Tracking
Malaysia-Flagged Vessels — Live AIS Ship Tracker | Voyage Radar | Voyage Radar
MarineTraffic and VesselFinder are the standard AIS portals with historical track replay on paid tiers.
FlightRadar24 covers all carriers.
ADS-B Exchange is notable because it doesn't filter out military or government aircraft the way commercial trackers do.
