Epaveldas.lt is Lithuania’s largest digital heritage platform, run by the National Library, offering books, audio, maps, and other cultural materials.
Electronic Archive Information System - A national platform providing online access to digitised Lithuanian archival records.
Ibiblioteka.lt - Lithuania’s digital library system offering millions of bibliographic records from over 1,000 libraries.
Infolex - A Lithuanian legal database with laws, court updates, and expert commentary.
Seimas Legal Acts Database - The official database of Lithuanian state and municipal legal acts and draft laws.
Open Data Page of the Electoral Commission – A platform providing datasets on elections, including results, constituencies, candidates, campaign finances, and related data.
Vilnius Open Data – A municipal platform providing datasets on Vilnius’ urban development, governance, and residents.
Karštos Pėdos – A transparency tool visualising links between politicians, civil servants, businesses, and public finances.

Business Registries and Information
The European e-Justice Portal provides pointers to the official business register for each EU country — including Lithuania’s Register of Legal Entities — and explains how to request extracts or certified data.
Register of Legal Entities (Juridiškų asmenų registras) - This is the official national business registry maintained by the State Enterprise Centre of Registers (Registrų centras).
JARS.LT – Company search covering Lithuanian (and Estonian) registries with data like registration code, address, status, financials, employee counts, etc.
Karštos Pėdos is a transparency tool that visualises the interconnections of politicians, civil servants, businesses, and public finances. It is managed by two NGOs: Siena.lt and Media4Change.
Rekvizitai.lt – A directory of Lithuanian companies, searchable by name, category, city, etc. (useful for basic lookup).
CR.LT – A private database of Lithuanian companies with directors, contacts, ratings, and other business information.
The Tax Inspectorate holds general information about taxpayers, companies, political organisations, and tax statistics. Although much of this data is not publicly accessible a selection is provided in open data format. The platform is managed by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania.
1588 Yellow Pages - This is a database of companies, including contact information such as address, and website address. Can be searched by company name, or product and service type.
Open Sanctions Lithuania - A list of entities whose property is legally owned or controlled by a sanctioned entity.
Data on concluded public procurement contracts (contracting organization, supplier, contract dates, amounts, description, etc.)
State Social Insurance Fund data that includes information about companies, the wages they pay, the number of employees, and other relevant details.

People Search
PINREG or Private Interest Registry is a civil servants’ declarations database that provides details on family connections, loans, and other relevant information on individuals who work in official state positions. The database is managed by The Supreme Commission of Official Ethics and is available only in Lithuanian.
This government list shows individuals officially sought by law enforcement and unidentified bodies. Searches typically require a name or ID code and are legal public safety tools.
Lithuanian archives systems — state and regional archives for historical documents including censuses, civil records, etc.
LitvakSIG is the primary internet resource for Lithuanian-Jewish (Litvak) genealogy research worldwide.
Surname Search Lithuania - Family history research
Adreßbuch baltischer Landwirthe - Address book of Baltic farmers. Data is organized by product types, with an index of the name of the goods. 1899.
Open Sanctions Lithuania - A list of entities whose property is legally owned or controlled by a sanctioned entity.

lrt.lt/en/news-in-english – the English language site of the Lrt.lt, the online service of Lithuania’s public broadcaster that covers the latest news.
Lithuanian National Radio and Television - Lithuanian National Radio and Television (LRT) is the country’s official public service broadcaster and the main example of state-funded media in Lithuania.
en.delfi.lt – the tabloid news site that covers major events in Lithuania and offers some analysis of politics and economy but focuses on gossip and celebrities.
www.lrytas.lt/english – the English section of the online version of the tabloid print daily Lietuvos rytas. The online publication mostly covers gossip and celebrities, but its English section does offer some news and analysis.
bns.lt/en – the site of the Lithuanian section of the pan-Baltic news agency Baltic News Service. The team behind it offers domestic and international news.
elta.lt/en – the site of ELTA, the only national news agency that offers the latest news daily. The English section is available to subscribers only.
nara.lt/en – the site run by the collective of Lithuanian journalists who cover the social and cultural life in Lithuania and also offer a wide range of human interest stories from the whole world.
lithuaniatribune.com – the independent news blog dedicated to the Lithuanian diaspora and foreign audience with business and diplomatic ties in Lithuania.
facebook.com/LivingInLithuaniaPodcast – the independent news blog dedicated to the Lithuanian diaspora and foreign audiences with business and diplomatic ties in Lithuania.
Regional news outlets
baltictimes.com/news_lithuania – the site of the last remaining English language generalist newspaper The Baltic Times. It covers the latest political, economic, business, and cultural events in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. Some articles can be accessed free of charge, but the full version is available only to subscribers.
balticsentinel.eu – the defense news site focusing on NATO’s Northeast. It combines interviews, historical commentary, and policy analysis centered around the Baltic defense sector with news and photo reports from the Russia-Ukraine frontline.
bnn-news.com/category/baltics/lithuania – a regional news source that offers news from Estonia and analysis of the Baltic economy, business, and political events.
en.rebaltica.lv – the English site of the non-profit organisation Baltic Center for Investigative Journalism Re:Baltica. It focuses first and foremost on Latvia but covers the entire Baltic region. The team behind it produces in-depth investigations covering a wide array of topics, such as corruption, crime, finances, entrepreneurship, health, human rights, and disinformation.
emerging-europe.com/tag/lithuania – the news site of the Emerging Europe Alliance for Business Services, Innovation, and Technology. The organisation is an international lobby of businesses, associations, local and national governments, NGOs, and individuals representing former Soviet Bloc countries. The team behind the site offers reports and interviews and covers the important events in the region.
balticworlds.com/tags/lithuania – the online version of the Stockholm-based quarterly magazine Baltic Worlds. The magazine focuses on the Baltic Sea region and Eastern Europe and contains peer-reviewed analytical texts, features, and interviews by professional freelance writers.
neweasterneurope.eu/tag/lithuania – the online version of the Warsaw-based bi-monthly print magazine New Eastern Europe that focuses on Central and Eastern European affairs and sometimes publishes exclusive reports or analyses on the Baltic States. Some of the online content is free of charge, but most of the texts are available only to subscribers.
upnorth.eu/category/news/lithuania – the web magazine focusing on Northern Europe, that covers politics, foreign policy, music, art, design, architecture, and culture and offers its audience podcasts and videos.
